2024-05-182024-05-18https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/717406Chi-Chuan Yeh is an esteemed surgeon who has been dedicatedly serving in the Department of Surgery at the National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH), College of Medicine, National Taiwan University (NTUCM), Taipei, Taiwan, for over two decades. Dr. Yeh is recognized as the pioneering surgeon in Taiwan to achieve a consultant position within the Department of Medical Education. Dr. Yeh's academic journey is as impressive as her clinical career. She earned a Master’s degree in Creativity Development from the College of Education at National Taiwan Normal University, Taipei. Furthering her expertise, she obtained a PhD in Clinical Medicine Research (Surgery and Cancer) from Imperial College London, UK, with her research concentrating on surgical education. Clinically, Dr. Yeh specializes in hernia surgery and minimally invasive techniques. Her research interests are particularly focused on surgical and medical education, along with the development of training models for both minimally invasive and open surgery. In recognition of her significant contributions to the field, Dr. Yeh was promoted to Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at NTUCM in August 2023.
