2005-01-012024-05-14https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/660193摘要:花壇作物普遍應用於景觀佈置,現在已成為一重要產業。九十二年之生產面 積約120公頃,產值約為五億元。台灣的花壇作物在秋季需求量高,但育苗期恰在 高溫多濕的夏季,穴盤苗易徒長,導致品質低下,因此徒長的控制便是生產高品 質花壇植物穴盤苗的關鍵。目前業者是利用噴灑矮化劑方式來控制植株高度,但 施用時機非常難以準確拿捏,噴施作業也容易對環境造成污染。 本計畫將研發以種子浸泡矮化劑的方式來控制穴盤苗徒長問題,於夏季生產 高品質穴盤苗。第一年將以非洲鳳仙花(台灣最重要的花壇作物)為材料,測試 浸泡paclobutrazol及uniconazole的成效及所需濃度。本計畫的執行預期可以發展出 一有效、低成本且友善環境的穴盤苗株高控制技術。<br> Abstract: The bedding plants are widely used in the landscape in Taiwan. The production area in 2003 is about 150 hectares, with a value of approximate 500 million NT dollars. There is a high demand of bedding plant plugs in the summer; however, the quality of plug seedlings is poor due to the high temperature. Height control of seedling is of great important for improving the plug quality of bedding plants. Currently, the growers manage the height control by the foliar sprays of plant growth retardants. However, it is difficult to obtain uniform plugs by this method and the environmental impact has been a concern. In this study, we will develop a method to control seedling height by soaking seeds in plant growth retardant. In the first year, we will use impatiens, the most important bedding plant in Taiwan, as plant material. Two plant growth retardants, paclobutrazol (Bonzi) and uniconazole (Sumagic), with various concentrations will be tested.
