The main purposes of the establishment of the Office is for financial planning, analysis and operations. To maintain NTU's preeminent position as one of World's Top 100 Universities, the Office of Financial Affairs has been devoted to its mission all the way and integrating resources across boundary for academic prosperity. The Office of Development was established on August 2019. The main objective of this office is to raise sufficient fund and resources to support NTU to be competitive while serves as a link between enterprises and NTU.緣起 財務管理處於民國96年8月1日正式成立，是李嗣涔校長在校務推展方面的重要構想之一；成立目的在開創新事業及規劃校務基金。臺灣大學近幾年來，持續朝向發展成為一流頂尖大學邁進，已帶領全校師生進入世界前一百大。 民國108年8月本處下設成立永續發展中心(現更名為財務發展組)。 財務發展組的任務是積極籌募臺大所需資源與經費，以支持臺大邁向世界頂尖大學；並扮演橋樑角色，協助企業與基金會和臺大鏈結，得以運用臺大教學與研究資源。 本處自開辦以來，積極致力於籌措財源，期望群策群力，攜手共進，克服種種困難，開創嶄新的未來。
