Since 2004, CCTP has published 3–5 volumes each year on average with hundreds of thousands of words in each volume. Currently, 60 volumes have been published. From Zhong-Xiao Wang(1593-1666), the first literate in CCTP, to the last one in the 60th volume Chui-Sheng Zhuang(1897-1962), CCTP has almost completed the phase-based tasks of collating and editing pre-World War II classical poetry under the compilation strategy of “connecting literati to poetry.” In the process of collecting, proofreading, compiling, and publishing over 20 years, CCTP has accumulated abundant works. The contents reveal the evolutionary meanders of Taiwanese poetry and represent time-specific responses and internal mindsets of poets in different periods and under different regimes. In consideration of the importance of CCTP and rapid advancement of researchers’ views and methodology, as the collection, compilation, editing, and publication program of CCTP reached the 20th year of operation, this project anticipates to hold an international conference to review the 20-year history of CCTP. Based on CCTP, the conference will cover discussion on classical poetry originating in the whole Taiwan region, including Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu. While addressing teaching and application issues, the conference will involve examination of the relationship between Taiwanese and Asian Mandarin poems, as well as the possibility of conducting comparative research. In addition, the Taiwanese characteristic hidden in classical Taiwanese poetry and topics on Taiwanese poetry resonate with poetry around the world will be examined. Thereby, the conference will guide the academia and the public into in-depth understanding of the compilation purpose and historical value of CCTP.全臺詩從《全臺詩》到全臺詩國際學術研討會“The Complete Collation of Taiwan classical Poetry” (CCTP)From " CCTP " to CCTP international conference全臺詩二十年國際研討會辦理計畫
