2006-10-012024-05-17https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/678696摘要：政府近年來對於流浪犬及棄養犬的收容與管理非常積極，使得流浪犬有逐年下降的趨勢，獲得社會及國際保育團體的肯定。其中犬的生育控制是最治本的方法，在以往均以針對雌犬進行卵巢及子宮摘除手術(OHE)。雌犬之OHE手術是一複雜且困難的手術，而卵巢部位進行摘除時，容易造成大量出血，導致犬隻的死亡。加上手術的花費不輕，造成經濟的負擔，這些都是我們希望能改善的問題。本研究計畫針對公犬進行輸精管結紮，此手術方法應用於人的節育已行之多年，是一種值得推廣的手術。因為此方法不但可達到節育的目的，且手術方法便利簡單不易造成公犬的傷害，以及節省手術經費及時間的好處，更重要的是不會改變公犬的性行為，如此即使發生於收容中心內有不受控制的交配行為發生或是結紮之公犬於野外進行交配行為時亦不會造成懷孕，且此方法亦可推廣於畜主不願其所飼之公犬因去勢而造成行為異常及生理的影響，相信對於動物福利人道管理及控制公犬的繁殖必可達到一定的目的，且公犬在收容中心內的管理亦更為方便，不必要的懷孕生產亦可避免。<br> Abstract: The government shows active attitude toward stray and abandon dogs. It comes out decreasing numbers of stray dogs and wins the reputation from the society to intonation. The birth control is the most effective method and besides them, OHE of bitch is the most common used way. The OHE of bitch is a complex and difficult surgery due to the high possibility of massive and lethal breeding with expensive cost. Those are the problems we intend to solve. The project focuses on ligation of vas deferens in male dogs which is used in human for years. It will reach the aim of birth control, easy and convenient without harm to the dog and also save time and money. Moreover it will make no change in the mating behavior. Even the mating behavior accidentally happened or the male dog mate in the field, it will not lead to pregnant. The method can also convince the owners who are unwilling of the behavior changing and physical influence after the ligation of their pets.
