2016-01-012024-05-17https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/679074摘要:系統生物學為一跨領域學門,除生物學、醫學及農學之外,另須整合如數學、資訊科學、電機工程、統計學、物理以及化學等研究領域。為提升及保持本校尖端研究力和全球競爭力,系統生物學中心整合大量資料數據分析平台與生物資訊分析方法,及臺大校園內近年來陸續完成或計畫建構之諸多“體學”相關研究設備。藉由設立核心實驗室並加強技術平台之技術研發及支援各項先端研究,可促進各研究單位緊密合作,結合微觀系統的整合性分析,以更巨觀的角度來推衍複雜的生物議題,甚至是生物系統的模型。目前本中心已規劃完成之核心實驗室包括: (1)系統生物學生物資源核心實驗室; (2) 體學核心實驗室; (3) 次世代高通量定序核心實驗室; (4) 生物資訊核心實驗室;及 (5) 系統生物學人才培育與國際合作推動中心。本中心階段性目標包括在未來五年中:(1) 擴充核心實驗室技術平台; (2) 推廣核心實驗室相關服務;及 (3) 協助校內前瞻計畫之研究,以期進一步提升台大在系統生物學領域之研究競爭力。<br> Abstract: Systems biology is an interdisciplinary study that integrates knowledge of mathematics, computational sciences, electronic engineering, statistics, physics, chemistry, as well as traditional biology, medical science and agriculture. To integrate various “Omics” study tools and bioinformatics analysis pipelines, the Center for Systems Biology (CSB) provides as a virtual center with multiple technological platforms that facilitates hands-on research and consolidates isolated research nodes across the NTU campus. With close interaction and cooperation between core labs and research teams, the CSB encourages integrative analyses of data from individual projects in order to gain a broader view of the complex biological systems. Currently, the CSB’s technological platforms are organized into five groups:(1) The Bio-resource core facilities; (2) The Omics core lab; (3) The Next Generation Sequencing core lab; (4) The Computational core lab; and (5) The Education and International Cooperation core.
