This tool is the extension of the results from our laboratory last year. We changed the system architecture and design for 3D scenes, the event in/out mechanism, visual editing, and friendlier user interface. We believe that such a tool can allow users to produce MPEG-4 contents easily and thus can push the MPEG-4 standard to be widely used. In this paper, we describe the design and implementation of an MPEG-4 scene-authoring tool, and we also introduce some necessary components for an MPEG-4 scene-authoring tool. © 2001 IEEE.application/pdf558336 bytesapplication/pdfen-USUser interfaces; 3D scenes; Authoring tool; Design and implementations; MPEG-4 standard; System architectures; Motion Picture Experts Group standardsThe design and implementation of a visual MPEG-4 scene-authoring tooljournal article10.1109/MPEG.2001.9964382-s2.0-33646692030http://ntur.lib.ntu.edu.tw/bitstream/246246/2007041910021308/1/00996438.pdf
