2006-08-012024-05-18https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/704407摘要:三維幾何模型資料在現今生活各層面中扮演著重要的角色,也是所有工程摸擬工具與商業動畫及網路遊戲的基礎。一般產業界應用在電影或遊戲上的三維幾何模型都是屬於動態模型(animatable model),也就是除了三維模型的幾何(geometry)資料之外還有動作(motion)資料的存在。產生動態模型或編輯模型的動作在整個生產鏈上均是相當耗費時間的,因此我們期望可以提出一系列的方法讓使用者可以方便的編輯動態模型的動作與外形,此外,在編輯動作的過程中,三維模型的體積(volume)常會有巨大差異的問題,因此使得編輯前後的模型體積儘量保持不變也是這個計畫的目標之一,另外,對於減低三維動態模型的資料量,我們也預計提供一個能夠保持畫格間(frame-to-frame)的動畫流暢度的網格簡化(mesh simplification)方法,而這些也是目前許多研究單位的研究主題之一。 本計劃為一二年期研究計劃,其主旨為開發一包含數個模組的三維動態模型處理系統,進行有關動作編輯(motion editing)、體積保持(volume preserving)、網格簡化等研究。 <br> Abstract: 3D geometric models nowadays become an important part of our daily life, and are the fundamental building blocks of engineering simulation tools, commercial animations, and networking computer games. Those models which are used in movies or games generally belong to animatable models, which have not only the geometry data but also the motion data. Actually, generating animatable models and editing the motions cost a lot of time comparing with the whole production pipeline. Therefore we want to propose several new and good algorithms to make the user to edit the motion and model easily and quickly. However, when editing the motion of a surface model, the volume of the model may be changed before and after the editing. Hence, to preserve the volume of the model while editing is also one of the goals of this project. Furthermore, to reduce the data size of the animatable model, we also want to propose a mesh simplification method for animatable model while keeping the frame-to-frame coherence. Many research groups also pay much attention to these topics. In this two years research project, we plan to develop a 3D animatable model processing system including several modules which contain motion editing with volume preserving and mesh simplification of animatable models.三維動態模型動作編輯體積保持網格簡化animatable modelvolume preservingmesh simplification三維動態模型之網格簡化與具有體積保持的動作編輯之研究
