2006-09-012024-05-18https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/697490摘要:東亞地區是印度板塊,歐亞板塊,菲律賓海板塊、太平洋板塊及澳洲板塊之間互相作用劇烈與複雜的區域,這些板塊之間的相互作用不但控制本區之地體構造運動,形成地表最高的青藏與帕米爾高原及喜馬拉雅山與興都庫什山造山帶,也影響了地表的氣候和海水的成分。其在板塊學說中的意義是重大的,諸如造山運動、岩石圈聚合增厚、陸塊脫逸、岩石圈擴張減薄、邊緣海和隱沒帶的發育及海底擴張等作用在本區均甚為顯著。為進一步了解新生代在本地區的陸-陸碰撞作用與脫逸地體運動的發生機制與地體演化情形,本計畫預定由地震學的觀測與分析方法,了解紅河斷裂帶的地震活動,地下震波速度結構及分析其在東亞地體構造之意涵。 為了增進對東亞地區之構造運動的了解及在演化意義上之做出具體貢獻,有必要對紅河斷裂帶之三維速度構造及地塊間相互作用性質作深入的研究。本研<br> Abstract: The seismicity of the surrounding area of East Asia and the interior of mainland China is high. In this project, 15 broadband seismic stations have been deployed on northern Vietnam which covered the Red River fracture zone as dense seismic array for seismic observations. Many digital seismograph stations of Incorporated Research Institute for Seismology and the Earthquake Research Institute of the Tokyo University were deployed in this surrounding area and there are a lots of high quality digital seismic data available to support seismological studies for regional tectonics. In this study, we shall apply existing global seismic data, Tibet regional array data and broadband seismic data deployed by this study to determine a high resolution three-dimensional velocity structure of crust and upper mantle of this area. We shall also use fault plane solutions of earthquakes of this area to study the characteristics of plate interactions. A three years Project has been proposed in this study to construct the three-dimensional velocity structure of crust and upper mantle of the south China sea and its surrounding area and the characteristics of plate interaction in Philippine, Taiwan, Ryukyu and Japan area. In this study, the seismic broadband observation on the northern Vietnam will be used to evaluate the seismic activity of the red river fracture zone to understand its fault rupture characteristics and deep structure of this area. The results of this study will provide the high resolution three-dimensional shear wave velocity structure of the crust and upper mantle of East Asia and will have great significance in promoting our understanding of the deep structure and its evolution of East Asia.
