2016-12-012024-05-18https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/707287摘要：近二十年來，世界史研究在台灣歷史學界有顯著的進展，經過長久的努力，台灣的世界史同仁已經形成一個非常活躍、具活力、高水準的學術社群。這個學群除了教學與研究研工作外，也致力國際學術的交流，希望透過與歐美歷史學者的深度互動，呈現台灣世界史研究的優良素質與卓越成果，以提高台灣世界史研究的國際能見度。「2017 年世界史卓越營」籌辦的目的，是要針對近代世界史上的「宗教變革、激進主義與群眾政治」等課題，邀集國內外學者共同探究。「世界史卓越營」規劃兩次專題工作坊：「近代英國的激進主義與群眾政治」與「宗教改革運動與群眾政治」，討論16 世紀到19 世紀期間，宗教、政治、教育等議題如何影響歐洲的下層人民、帶動平民政治意識與政治行動。工作坊將組織跨校性的研究生與高年級學士班學生研習營，透過「導讀會」、「主題演講」與「研討會」等活動，希望激發年輕學生對世界史的研究興趣，以利培養新一代台灣的世界史人才。<br> Abstract: The study of world history has made great strides forwards in Taiwan in the last two decades. Those who are devoted to the study of world history have already become one of the most active and high-level academic communities in Taiwan. Apart from teaching and researching, the Taiwanese historians of world history were also keen in making international contacts with historians around the world, with a view to making known to the world what Taiwanese historians had done in the study of world history. The purpose of the 2017 Workshop on World History is to research into issues on ‘the Reformation, radicalism and popular politics’ in modern European history. Two workshops will be organized for inquiring separately into the topics on ‘The Reformation and Popular Politics’ and ‘Radicalism and Popular Politics in Modern Britain’, discussing how politics, religion and education could make impacts on the lower classes, their political thinking and activities.The workshops will hold guided reading, lectures and seminar for both undergraduate and postgraduate students in order to stimulate their interest in world history and encourage them to do advanced study.
