2006-08-012024-05-17https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/671437摘要：近二十年來，臺灣佛教的發展有兩個值得注意的現象，一個是藏傳佛教的勃興；另一個則是南傳上座部佛教的方興未艾。關於臺灣藏傳佛教的發展情況，近年來已有學者展開相關的研究與分析，而南傳佛教在臺灣的發展狀況，則似乎尚未見整體的調查、研究。本計畫有鑑於此一空白亟應填補，擬分三個部分，對於南傳上座部佛教目前為止在臺灣的傳播狀況，做一整體而深入的研究探索，並進一步分析其對臺灣社會、文化及民眾思想之影響。 本計畫的第一部分，是針對南傳上座部佛教的經典與文獻，目前在臺灣的翻譯及出版情況，做完整而詳細的調查與記錄，並分析其取材之來源、翻譯者之背景、翻譯成果之評價等，以做為第二部分：「教義與思想之部」的研究基礎。第三部分則是「修行與戒律之部」，係對於南傳上座部佛教的修行方法與戒律，其與北傳佛教之異同進行比較分析。 目前臺灣翻譯南傳上座部佛教的經典與文獻，其取材之來源大別有兩類：一類是傳統的南傳上座部佛教經典，如元亨寺主持翻譯的《南傳大藏經》；另一類則是近代南傳上座部佛教高僧大德的著作，如佛使比丘、帕奧禪師等人的著作。以翻譯者的背景而言，亦可概分為兩類：一類是有組織的集體工作，如前述的《南傳大藏經》；一類是<br> Abstract: Near 20 in the last yearses, Taiwan buddhistic development have two worth pay attention to phenomenon, a is Tibetan buddhistic rise suddenly; Another be south pass on seat buddhistic in the ascendant.
