2019-02-222024-05-17https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/677992摘要:雷達中央氣象局(以下簡稱氣象局)自2014年開始將五分山作業用都卜勒天氣雷達升級為具雙極化(dual-polarization)功能的雙偏極化雷達,開啟氣象局對豪大雨天氣監測與預報的新里程。本計畫選取2014至2018年造成豪大雨天氣系統(午後雷暴、颱風雨帶、以及鋒面雨帶等),分析五分山S波段及C波段雙偏極化雷達觀測參數特徵,進行參數分析比較,建立特徵資料庫。之後並將將分析方法擴及其他地區,如高雄及臺中C波段雙偏極化雷達,進行中南部地區雙偏極化參數之分析比較及特徵資料庫之建立。同時利用ZHH-ZDR與ZHH-KDP散布圖法,分析各種天氣系統所反演之水象粒子類別大小形狀等特徵敏感度,作為定量降雨估計的基礎資料庫。最後將發展C波段雙偏極化雷達回波衰減演算法,進行定量降雨估計方法的建立與測試。<br> Abstract: Observational characteristics of heavy rain events associated with (i) afternoon thunderstorm, (ii) typhoon rainbands, and (iii) Meiyu frontal rainbands in recent years will be examined in this three-year project using polarimetric radar observables. The major tasks include: (1) Variations on the structure and distribution of polarimetric variables before and after cell merge and rainbands before and after landfall will be identified. Column of Zdr and Kdp will be examined and Zdr larger than 1dB extended 2~3 km above the melting layer is the manifestation of mixed phase hydrometeors existence and indicative of strong updraft. The appearance of Kdp column above melting layer suggests potential of heavy rainfall and can be served as a good variable for quantitative precipitation estimation.
