2015-08-012024-05-18https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/702752摘要:木材因具有良好的機械性質,在許多領域中被廣泛使用。然而,木材易受紫外光影響,誘發光氧化反應而劣化。由先前相思樹(Acacia confusa Merr.)心材、樹皮與枝條等部位抽出成分之研究得知,這些抽出成分富含酚類化合物,具有良好的抗氧化能力。然而,目前有關相思樹抽出成分的研究大多偏向天然用藥及保健食品的領域,至於抽出物與其成分對木材光劣化反應之影響及是否具有光安定能力之相關研究甚少。計畫主持人最近初步試驗相思樹心材抽出物抑制木材光劣化之效果,研究結果證實抽出物能減緩木質素之光劣化,然而,真正有效抑制光劣化之抽出成分種類及其機制尚不清楚,非常值得進一步深入的探討。另外,相思樹抽出物除了具有良好的抗氧化能力,亦可能具有吸收紫外光之能力,故相思樹抽出物頗有潛力開發成天然光安定劑。因此,本計畫擬針對相思樹各部位抽出物進行光安定能力的篩選,探討其抑制木質素光劣化之效能,同時針對光安定能力較佳之抽出物予以分離純化,鑑定其結構,並分析抽出成分之光安定能力,以及探討其光安定機制。本研究結果除了能提高相思樹抽出物的經濟價值,亦可擴展其應用領域。<br> Abstract: Due to its various mechanical properties, wood has many applications from engineering to art works. However, wood is liable to degradation caused by UV light. Results obtained from previous studies revealed that the extracts of the heartwood, bark and twig from Acacia confusa have abundant phenolics with excellent antioxidant activities. These previous researches focused mainly on the applications in the natural medicines and health products, however, the effects of A. confusa extractives on wood photodegradation and the photostability of the extractives have not been fully understood. Our preliminary study on the photostabilizing effect of crude extract from A. confusa heartwood showed that wood extract could alleviate the photodegradation of lignin, thereby further investigations on the efficacious extractives and the exact mechanisms of photostabilization are imperative. In addition, it was suggested that A. confusa extractives might act as antioxidants and/or UV absorbers. Therefore, A. confusa extractives have potential to be used as natural photostabilizers. In this study, we intend to analyze the photostability of extractives from A. confusa and investigate the efficiency of these extractives against wood photdegradation. Furthermore these extractives which have photostability will be purified and identified, and the photstabilization mechanism will also be studied and elucidated.
