LeCosPA is dedicated to the advancement of cosmology and particle astrophysics.本中心成立於2007年，主要發展方向為： 1.提供臺大各院系所從事相關領域研究之學者及學生優良之研究環境。 2.以本中心為主軸，促進與中研院天文所及國內各大學相關學術機構人才與資源之交流與互動。 3.推動與國際頂尖大學之相關學術機構簽訂長期合作交流備忘錄，以此做為雙邊合作及交換學者、學生長期互訪之平台。 4.本中心致力推動宇宙學與粒子天文物理學之理論、數值模擬、及觀測與實驗等三大研究範疇，力求在學術上有重大突破。
