SW.] 為最大宗,其花期主要集中在7至10月,容易造成產季過度集中而降低市場價值。植物生長調節劑已成功被運用誘導許多蘭科植物的開花,以增進品質與產量。若能利用生長調節劑調控四季蘭花期,除了有助於增加四季蘭的利用效益,也可增進農民收益。但不同蘭花對不同藥劑及濃度的反應不同,施用藥劑、濃度與施用時機等方面都會影響結果,且種間差異大,而蕙蘭屬仍乏相關報導。本計畫將綜合環境調控、化學藥劑使用,以及園藝操作來進行四季蘭的產期調節。去年研究成果顯示,施用生長調節劑有助於四季蘭抽梗開花,但不同藥劑會對植株形態造成不同之影響。本年度計畫將繼續探討最佳藥劑種類與濃度及其施用次數,在最高生產效益及最低副作用下取得一個平衡點,並進階探討不同施用時間點與溫度處理對四季蘭開花之影響,期望達到最佳促進效果。<br> Abstract: Cymbidium is the third most exported orchid group in Taiwan and Cymbidium ensifolium (L.) SW. is the most exported within the group. The market value of Cym. ensifolium decreases when production is abundant during the typical flowering season from July to October. Plant growth regulators have been used successfully to regulate the flowering of many orchid species and to improve their quality and production. If the flowering of Cym. ensifolium could be regulated by plant growth regulators, it would not only help to increase the utilization of Cym. ensifolium , but also increase the grower’s income. Plant growth regulators can be used to control the flowering of orchids, but various orchids respond differently to different plant growth regulators. Factors such as chemical agent, its concentration, and application timing all affect the flowering of orchids, but relevant research in Cym. ensifolium is still lacking. In this study, we will integrate environmental control, chemical applications, and horticultural practices to more evenly distribute the flowering of Cym. ensifolium throughout the year, and to find out the best combination of the abovementioned factors. Our previous results show that application of plant growth regulators induced Cym. ensifolium to flower during non-flowering season, whereas the control group plants remained vegetative, but abnormal and injured appearance were observed. In this year we will continue to explore the best concentration of plant growth regulators and the frequency of its application, to strike a balance in quality and side effects.
