2012-04-012024-05-16https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/669437摘要：從2003年起的9年之間，我們共舉辦了144場「展望」科普演講，每一年分春秋兩季，每季各有八場演講，在台灣大學應用力學研究所演講廳進行。九年來涵蓋了自然科學、工程、能源、環保、天文，以及生命科學等各重要尖端領域。所邀請的講座皆為國內各大專院校及研究機構傑出的研究學者。因為演講內容涵蓋科學的最新進展和科技的研發過程，同時也因為部分主題和民眾生活緊密結合，又因為邀請講座皆為學術界一時之選，同時主持人也以幽默的方式，創造輕鬆愉快的氛圍，因此長期吸引為數眾多的民眾和學生參加。九年下來聽講人數超過4萬人次，對增加學術界和民眾的直接接觸，以及將國內的尖端研究介紹給一般大眾，做出了明顯的貢獻，成為科教處在北部規劃科普演講的主要系列。我們因此在本計畫中提出了另一季三年計畫，希望能夠持續舉辦這一成效良好的演講系列。這一科普演講系列成功的另一因素，為大眾傳播媒體的肯定與支持，我們在過去三年中，與平面媒體（聯合報）、電子媒體（DISCOVERY）、電台（NEWS98），以及校園科教網路（台大演講網）密切合作，在演講前進行文宣，演講後登出摘要報導及網路隨選視訊，使得單一的演講，能夠在傳播媒體上和民眾多次見面，發揮了極大的科教後續效果。我們因此希望在本計畫的三年中，可以和以上這些媒體繼續合作，為國內的科普教育持續奉獻心力。<br> Abstract: In the 9 years since 2003, we have successfully conducted 144 sessions of Prospect science popular lectures. There are two seasons of 8 lectures each year, in the Spring and in the Fall, respectively, held in the Lecture Hall of the Applied Mechanics Institute at the National Taiwan University. The content covers physics, engineering, energy, environment, astronomy, and life science. The distinguished invited speakers come from universities and research institutes in Taiwan. Since the central themes are well connected to the advance technology development as well as the daily life of the general public, and since the host could create an easy and humorous atmosphere, this lecture series have attracted more than 40,000 people, making a significant contribution in bringing together the academia and the general public, and in introducing the advanced research to the students and the general public. We thus hope to continue holding this very fruitful lecture series and propose for another 3 years. One key factor for the success of this series is the support and collaboration with the public media. We have collaborated with UDN, Discovery, NEWS98, and NTU Lecture Web, who have helped advertising the talks before the series, and posted content in the newspaper and on the web afterwards. Thus one single lecture will have multiple opportunities to meet the general public.
