王育雯2006-07-252018-05-292006-07-252018-05-292001-01-28http://ntur.lib.ntu.edu.tw//handle/246246/13892計畫年度:89 第二期;起迄日期:2000-08-01/2001-10-31本計畫承續前一年的計畫「性靈價值觀與音樂分析:以Arvo Pärt 近二十年宗教音樂為例(之一)」。此二年期計畫目的在探討以助長性靈為前提的音樂價值觀是否可以和音樂分析結合﹐進行樂曲的詮釋﹐並發展出一種由此觀點出發的分析法;並藉由音樂對宗教信仰以至精神性靈的助益為出發點,分析Pärt 的宗教作品如何表現、強化、或提升聽者的精神性靈層次。計畫第一年在解釋西方以精神性靈為前提的音樂價值觀為何,並追溯其源頭。由歐洲天主教會關於音樂對大眾信仰應有的助益之主張談起,追溯此一價值觀的來源與其背後的哲理。同時,並探詢此種價值觀對實際樂曲安排的意義與要求。第二年則是將此種價值觀以及對音樂的要求,應用在分析Arvo Pärt 自1976 年來的宗教音樂作品,同時並參照其它相關之現代音樂及西方宗教音樂。分析時,不僅以譜面所顯示的樂音結構﹑組織為依歸,而且也使用聲譜分析進行,並參照聽覺經驗與覺受。據本年度(第二年)的研究結果顯示,Pärt 的樂曲中,和聲、旋律、音高的變化方式,藉著在統一、一致的整體特性之下,表現細膩的變化,而呈現出一種「單一的片刻在時間中鋪陳」(a singlemoment spread out in time)的現象,且鋪陳的方式是以微細而豐富的變動,使得樂曲在「靜止」的錯覺中,又能不斷保持聽者的注意力。不同方面的樂音安排,不是以這種手法呈現,就是營造出有利於聽者平和、專注心境的條件,以便其欣賞樂曲寧靜中的細膩。This is a two-year project. The major task is to investigate the relationship between the value concept of spirituality and music analysis. Based on the finding that music is capable of enhancing or cultivating human being’s spirituality, I analyze the religious works of Estonian composer Arvo Pärt. The purpose is to investigate how his music achieve the spiritual effects upon the listeners— through what kinds of sound organization and mechanism. The first year of this project concentrates on the musical value concept of spirituality: what it meant in the western music historical context, when and where it came from, and what it meant for compositional arrangements and practical musical considerations. In the second year, this value concept, with the understanding reached in Part One, is applied to actual analyses of Pärt’s religious works. Pärt’s religious compositions is analyzed and discussed from the perspective of spirituality. As a result of the second year’s investigation— analysis of Pärt’s works— it is found that in many of his religious compositions, Pärt achieves an effect of “a single moment spread out in time,” as Paul Hillier identifies. The way the music is “spread out” is through delicate, minute changes, so that it keeps the listener’s attention within a “standstill” sound impression.
