2003-08-012024-05-18https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/697069摘要:物種多樣性的時空變異是生物學家長久以來亟感興趣之課題,一時空下的生產量與能量循環,常常被認為是物種多樣性最重要的原因與機制之一。個人之前於塔塔加地區沿海拔梯度成熟林內之研究發現,當地鳥類總生物量與鳥類總密度之間呈駝峰狀分佈,鳥類平均體重與總生物量之間呈U-狀分佈,違背能量限制理論之機制。本研究針對此問題,計劃於當地因林火干擾及地形環境所造成的地景鑲嵌體內,進行鳥類總生物量、體型大小、族群密度、與種多樣度之間關係的研究。全期計劃之主要目的在於測試鳥類總生物量、鳥類總密度、與鳥類種多樣性之間皆呈線性相關之假說,藉以驗證能量限制理論之詳細機制。第一、二年將另外測試領域描圖法、穿越線法、圓圈法、及霧網捕捉法在鳥類密度估算上之異同,第二、三年亦將藉由繫放及追蹤觀察工作深入探討主要鳥種之日間活動範圍及在不同地景區塊間之播遷與季間遷移模式。預期可進一步釐清初級生產量與消費者物種多樣性間關係與機制、探討地景結構與生態系多樣性如何影響物種多樣性、及調查生物群聚於林火干擾之後的回復過程。<br> Abstract: The spatial and temporal variations of species diversity have long been intriguing biologists. Productivity and energy flux have often been regarded as one of the most important processes and mechanisms of species diversity. Previous studies in mature forests along an elevational gradient in Tatachia area showed a hump-shaped relationship between bird total density and bird total biomass and a U-shaped relationship between bird mean biomass and total biomass, which both contradicted predictions of the energy limitation theory. This study proposes to investigate the relationship among bird total biomass, body size, population density, and species diversity within the landscape mosaic of Tatachia area. The main objective of this research is to test the hypothesis that bird total biomass, total density, and species richness are all linearly correlated. Besides, the differences among territory mapping method, transect method, circular plot method, and mist netting method in estimating bird population densities will be evaluated in the first and second years; and the home ranges, dispersal, and seasonal migration of birds within the landscape mosaic will be studied in the second and third years. This research is expected to (1) clarify the relationship and mechanism between primary productivity and consumer species diversity, (2) study the effects of landscape structure and ecosystem diversity on species diversity, and (3) investigate the recovery processes of biotic communities after fire disturbance.塔塔加地區地景鑲嵌體內之鳥類群聚生態
