2006-01-012024-05-17https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/691073摘要：本計畫之目的在於有系統地收集並整理台灣之野生動物資料，以台灣大學動物博物館內之資料為基礎，建立台灣野生動物之數位化資料庫，並依據此資料庫，建立以Internet 為基礎之WWW 資料存取系統，提供作為未來學術研究、學術資料查詢、標本資料交流、生物多樣性教育及大眾自然保育教育之資訊來源。 本子計畫的主要工作項目包括現有動物標本之整理與建檔、標本新增與補充、博物館館藏系統之建立、動物資料數位化、SQL 資料庫查詢系統之建立、Internet 網站之架設與維護、Internet WWW 系統之建立與空間資料分析等八大項目。 本計畫五年內將完成台灣野生動物資料之建檔工作，包括哺乳類70 多種(92年度)、鳥類400 種(91~93 年度)、爬蟲類80 種(93~94 年度)、兩生類30 種(91 年度)、淡水魚類80 種(94~95 年度)、蚯蚓30 種(94 年度)。資料數位化工作內容包括動物實體標本、骨骼標本、動物生態照片、叫聲資料之數位化和野外錄影資料。 整理每一種動物的分布資料也是本子計畫的重點，估計資料量達100 GB 以上。成果將以互動式網頁資料庫查詢系統展示，並完成<br> Abstract: The purpose of this project is to create digital archives for Taiwan’s wildlife species. These data were collected since the Japanese Occupation and continued by researchers in the Department of Zoology, National Taiwan University. The items archived include specimen, life history, distribution, body measurements, ecological photos, calls, field videos and original description of published papers of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fishes, earthworms, mollusks, and coral reefs. Metadata databases were also created to document these bioinformatics. Databases will available online and query will be provided. We will collect bioinformatics of wildlife species in the 5-year’s study period. A Total of 680,000 records will be digitally archived. Since the project started in May of 2002, we have archived data ranging from specimen to various sorts of information related to wildlife species in the field. Currently, we have completed distribution data of avian and amphibian species. In the coming year, we’ll create GIS coverages for these distribution records.
