Shinn.] 為臺灣重要的外銷切花作物。切花品質之良窳同時受採前栽培管理及採後處理技術的影響,因此瞭解採前及採後相關因子對洋桔梗水分生理及瓶插壽命的影響,將有助於洋桔梗產業之發展。因此本研究以水分生理為基軸,探討不同品種、栽培管理、採後處理操作與洋桔梗切花瓶插期間植體水分平衡之關係,以及它們如何影響花朵之壽命。本年度計畫將研究限水下不同給水模式,以及採前給水量對洋桔梗葉片形態與切花生長量之影響。探討採前限水處理對洋桔梗貯運期間遭遇水分逆境之抵抗能力的助益,瞭解限水處理對切花水分平衡及花朵壽命之影響。期能發展適合的洋桔梗採後處理技術,增進洋桔梗於貯運期間對逆境的耐受能力,提升切花品質。<br> Abstract: Lisianthus [Eustoma grandiflorum (Raf.) Shinn.] is an important flower crop in Taiwan grown primarily for export. Both preharvest practices and postharvest treatments play an important role in determining the quality of its cut flower. An understanding of how the factors involved during preharvest and postharvest influence water relation and vase life will benefit the industry. In this research, the emphasis will be on water relation, and we will study how different cultivars, cultivation practices, and postharvest treatments are related with the water balance of cut flowers, and also how these factors influence vase life. In this year, we will investigate the responses of Eustoma to preharvest water deficit and postharvest water stress and the impacts of those stresses on lisianthus leaf morphology and growth of cut flowers. We will determine whether preharvest deficit irrigation would enable the cut flowers to better withstand water stress encountered during shipment.
