國立臺灣大學電機工程學系暨研究所吳靜雄2006-07-252018-07-062006-07-252018-07-062003-07-31http://ntur.lib.ntu.edu.tw//handle/246246/7929光纖具有寬頻高容量的特性,為通信網路最重要的傳輸媒體;目前經常被討 論使用的傳輸方式分別有分波多工(WDM),分碼多工(CDMA)及分時多工 (TDMA);然而由於多媒體資訊時代的來臨,各式網路系統必需做有效的整合, 本整合型計畫希望能針對高速光通訊系統與元件之設計進行研究。 在高速光通訊系統設計方面,計畫研究被動光網路應用光分碼多工技術以實 現寬頻接取服務,並且設計效能佳的光分碼多工編碼;另外光封包交換技術(OPS) 以及分波多工技術可以提供高速交換之功能,在本計畫中提出了幾個簡單優先策 略的效能分析;在元件設計方面,計畫研究如何將光學能隙晶格技術應用於被動 光通訊元件,並進行模擬測試,更進一步利用到積體光學技術製作極小尺寸的波 導元件,另外本計畫也研究包括新型高速可調波長範圍雷射陣列與波長轉換之設 計與製作。Optical fiber has inherent large transmission bandwidth. It plays an important role in broadband wireline communication networks. Three techniques: wavelength division multiplex (WDM), code division multiple access (CDMA) and time division multiple access (TDMA) are most commonly used transmission schemes. Due to the growing demand of the internet traffic, the networks are required to provide full multimedia service. Therefore, different kinds of systems have to be integrated to achieve this goal. This integrated project studies the high-speed optical communication systems and the design of the optical components. Passive optical networks (PON) are considered to be a solution to realize the full service access network (FSAN). We study the PON systems using optical CDMA (OCDMA) in the upstream direction. The construction methods of the spreading sequences for the OCDMA systems are also studied in this project. For the design of the optical components, we apply nano-photonic bandgap crystal in designing the optical communication components. In order to fabricate nano optical communication devices, the size reduction of the nano optical communication component to nano scale is a future trend. We reduce the existing optical communication component and aims at studying how to apply the photonic bandgap crystal to the optical communication components.
