2020-08-122024-05-17https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/671898摘要:為解決全球水資源短缺問題,近年來疏水膜有愈來愈多的研究被應用於廢水處理與資源再生方面,也促使微孔薄膜接觸器的發展。然而,傳統疏水膜只侷限於處理沒有界面活性劑且水質較為乾淨的水溶液,而無法有效回收廢液中的有用物質。在這個特殊的狀況下,需要同時疏水和疏油的全疏膜才能夠有效處理傳統疏水膜無法處理的廢液。儘管全疏膜具有無窮潛力,有關全疏膜的研究卻相當稀少。因此本三年計畫之目的將設計多種薄膜表面結構及表面能的策略,以有效製備全疏膜。在計畫的第一年中,我們團隊將致力於設計全疏玻璃纖維膜,研究全疏特性的決定因素,並奠定全疏改質的重要技術。在計畫的第二年中,我們將會運用已建立的全疏技術,製備全疏中空纖維膜。同時,稀土氧化物原子沉積法技術也會被建立,藉以降低薄膜表面能及增加薄膜的耐用性。在計畫的第三年中,先前製備的全疏膜將會被應於薄膜接觸器中,以測試全疏膜的全疏效果及穩定性。此外,全疏中空纖維膜也將更進一步多根封裝以規模擴大至工業應用。<br> Abstract: For overcome the global water shortage, hydrophobic membranes are being increasingly investigated in wastewater treatment and resource recovery, which promotes development of microporous membrane contactors. However, conventional hydrophobic membranes are limited to treat only relatively clean water sources with minimum surface active agents, which causes the loss of clean water source and valuable resources in wastewater. Omniphobic membranes that repel both water and oil are therefore imperative to be fabricated for extended cases in membrane contactors. Despite the potential of omniphobic membranes, studies on the fabrication of such membranes are rather scarce. Therefore, the main object of the three-year project is to design several strategies to engineer surface energy and nanostructures for the fabrication of omniphobic membranes. In the first project year, we will focus on designing omniphobic glass fiber membranes through comparative study to elucidate the key factors that determine surface omniphobicity. In the second project year, omniphobic hollow fiber membranes will be prepared using the methods developed in the first year. Atomic layer deposition of intrinsically hydrophobic rare earth oxides will be used as an alternative way to lower the surface energy and increase the robustness of membranes. In the last project year, the omniphobic membranes will be tested in membrane contactors.
