2011-04-012024-05-14https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/661594摘要:蝴蝶蘭(Phalaenopsis spp.)為世界重要的花卉作物之一,是荷蘭的拍賣市場中總值第一名的盆花。臺灣自1980年代末期企業化大量栽培蝴蝶蘭至今,栽培介質一直以水苔為主。多篇前人研究及業者皆觀察到,栽培蝴蝶蘭的水苔介質pH&#20516;,隨著種植時間增長而呈現下降的趨勢,但造成介質酸化的原因尚未釐清,也不瞭解介質酸化對蝴蝶蘭生長的影響。目前業者僅單憑經驗認為此現象是因水苔自我分解而造成,但此說法並無明確科學證據支持。因此本計畫擬針對介質特性、肥料施用與植物本身等可能肇因進行探討,以釐清何為造成介質酸化現象的主要因子,並嘗試瞭解介質酸化現象的理由是否與蝴蝶蘭偏好的生長pH值範圍有關,進一步分析蝴蝶蘭的根部分泌物,以釐清介質酸化的造成原因,做為業者栽培蝴蝶蘭之參考。<br> Abstract: Phalaenopsis has become one of the most important floral crops in the world. It is the highest valued potted plants sold at the Netherlands auctions. Since the late 1980s, sphagnum moss has been used as the sole root medium in Taiwan. Previous researches and growers observed that the pH of the moss in containers declines over time, but the causes of this phenomenon are still unknown. It’s also unclear how the acidification of medium would affect the growth of Phalaenopsis. Orchid growers attribute the drop of pH to the decomposition of the moss, but no scientific evidences had been brought about. The project aims to explore the potential causes of sphagnum moss acidification, including characteristics of the moss, fertilizer applications, and the presence of plants. Also, we want to understand the relationship between medium acidification and the preferred pH range of Phalaenopsis. Moreover, root secretions of Phalaenopsis will analyzed, in order to clarify causes of medium acidification.
