A dynamic analysis is conducted which takes the transient behaviors of the adsorption of particles to a polymer molecule and the particle-particle interactions into account. We show that the number of particles adsorbed to a polymer molecule follows approximately a binomial distribution. An approximate expression for the degree of flocculation of the system under consideration is presented.Bridging flocculationDegree of flocculationPolymer adsorptionVery high molecular weight polymersFlocculation by very high molecular weight polymersjournal article10.1007/BF006634502-s2.0-5744253970https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-5744253970&doi=10.1007%2fBF00663450&partnerID=40&md5=b27a2265bc6200d72ff8cacf1a0b02b6
