Definition of ying marriage, 2. The practice of ying marriage in pre-Ch’in period, 3. The arguments about ying marriage of Han Confucianists, 4. The background of interpretation about ying marriage by Jing-Shi, 5. Marriages and harems of the imperial household in Han dynasty. These analyses will help us to understand those situations of the ancient Chinese marriage system.
