The changing environment, the duration, density and temperature during transportation, the speed and sounds of the vehicles, and the level of disinfection of the vehicles might impair animal welfare and increase the risk of diseases transmission. In the most severe case, it might leads to animal deaths. Taiwan is located in subtropical/tropical climate zones. It is relatively common to have temperature above 30 degree celsius. How we manage animal welfare in transportation during high temperature requires scrutinized strategy. The current regulation on animal transportation solely includes several farm animal species, although it is considerably comprehensive. Therefore, the aim of this project is to investigate the animal transportation regulations for various species from other countries and put together a guideline for animal transportation.人道運輸humane transportation強化動物福利管理政策計畫
