It is low losses, simple, and compact in size, which is easy from photo type implement to practical application. The equivalent switching resistor of super-capacitor balancing circuit is deduced for Simulink Simulation. The simulation and test results are illustrated to show the efficacy of the proposed scheme. The super-capacitor and the lithium battery has the complementary characteristics, the analysis of the characteristics between the super-capacitor and lithium battery is introduced. The simulation of this power system reveals to achieve the very good effect under pulse load on robot, the super-capacitor not only absorb massive surging power to lighten burden of the lithium battery but also on switching for balancing, the control board with super-capacitor is realized for practical installing on robot. The simulation and experimental results show that this method can realize practical equalization, and has higher application value.[SDGs]SDG7Super-capacitor applications on series lithium batteries for robot power managementconference paper10.1109/APL.2011.61110652-s2.0-84862931713https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84862931713&doi=10.1109%2fAPL.2011.6111065&partnerID=40&md5=65eab750faed90595948b8829fdc3661
