Generally, the role of biomaterials in preventing drug resistance in cancer research focuses on encapsulating drugs to prepare nanoparticles to gain access to cancer cells [2]. Up to now, few study reported that polymer biomaterial itself provides the potential to bypass drug resistance or the synergistic effect with drugs in cancer therapy. In addition, the problem of drug resistance in cancer is similar to the infectious disease, in that both chemotherapeutic and antimicrobial therapies are quickly tempered due to drug-resistance to lead to disease reversion.
