The proposed antenna operates at around 10 GHz and 12.5 GHz. Making uses of the first two fundamental modes of waveguide cavity, i.e., TE101 and TE102, we can realize a monopole-like radiation pattern for the lower band and a broadside radiation pattern for the higher band.
