Shinn.] 為臺灣重要的外銷切花作物 。切花品質之良窳同時受採前栽培管理及採後處理技術的影響,因此瞭解採前及採 後相關因子對洋桔梗水分生理及瓶插壽命的影響,將有助於洋桔梗產業之發展。因 此本研究將以水分生理為基軸,探討不同品種、栽培管理、採後處理操作與洋桔梗 切花瓶插期間植體水分平衡之關係,以及它們如何影響花朵之壽命。在採前栽培方 面,將著重於限水處理對洋桔梗貯運期間遭遇水分逆境之抵抗能力的助益,及如何 影響之後的植體水分變化及花朵壽命。在採後處理方面,亦將探究洋桔梗切花對瓶 插液醣類種類之偏好、對醣類之吸收及分配情形,以及碳水化合物代謝對水分平衡 及花朵壽命之影響。期能發展適合的洋桔梗採後處理技術,增進洋桔梗於貯運期間 對逆境的耐受能力,提升切花品質。 <br> Abstract: Lisianthus [Eustoma grandiflorum (Raf.) Shinn.] is an important flower crop in Taiwan grown primarily for export. Both preharvest practices and postharvest treatments play an important role in determining the quality of its cut flower. An understanding of how the factors involved during prevarvest and postharvest influence water relation and vase life will benefit the industry. In this research, the emphasis will be on water relation, and we will study how different cultivars, cultivation practices, and postharvest treatments are related with the water balance of cut flowers, and also how these factors influence vase life. For preharvest practices, we will investigate whether preharvest deficit irrigation would enable the cut flowers to better withstand water stress encountered during shipment. For postharvest treatments, we will also study the preference of lisianthus for different types of sugars in the vase solution, the uptake and distribution of sugars, and how the metabolism of carbohydrates affect water balance and vase life.
