All had lollipop-shaped tumors on magnetic resonance imaging. The mean size of the tumors was 2 cm in diameter. Only one patient had an absent ice water caloric test. However, all three patients had abnormal auditory brainstem response. Lollipop-shaped tumors represent medially arising schwannomas from the internal auditory canal. Hearing is relatively preserved because these tumors extended into the cerebellopontine angle instead of the internal auditory canal.
