2008-02-012024-05-14https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/658822摘要:計畫擬以「模式生物」為主題,引導模式生物的概念作為跨領域系統生物學研究的基礎。將以模式生物線蟲為題材,利用分子生物與遺傳工具,探討生物發生的原理。藉由實驗的實際操作,思考並討論傳統單一基因、單一調控路徑與系統性研究的差異性與個別的重要性。並將利用特定的轉錄因子為例,結合影像技術、運用數學模型,建立轉錄因子的作用模式。 <br> Abstract: The project aims to give the participating students a strong foundation in the cellular and developmental biology through the hand-on experiments and literature discussion for their future studies in the interdisciplinary sciences such as systems biology. As systems biology is largely developed on the basis of model organisms, the project will focus on the simple nematode C. elegans. The project will emphasize the importance of the in-depth studies of the molecular mechanisms of gene and cell functions. On the top of that, mathematics and photonics will be introduced to help solving biological issues.
