2016-08-012024-05-17https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/679370摘要：大學教育乃促進國家現代化、提昇國家發展性與維持國家競爭力之基石。大學排名係透過多重客觀且質量並重之評鑑指標，將各大學的學術及研究表現予以評比，再以簡明的排名呈現各大學之間的綜合表現差異。大學排名的計算對各大學、教育主管機關乃至國家之辦學績效均具有重要意義。對各大學而言，大學排名有助其瞭解當前所處的學術地位、自身的研究成果及優劣勢，以供未來努力與加強之方向。對上位的教育主管機關而言，則可作為制定國家學術政策、分配學術資源、選擇支持方向及獎勵之指導依據。本計畫目標主要有四：（一）分析我國大學在五大世界大學排名系統之當年排名結果、分領域排名結果，以及當年度之ESI論文質量表現，並將與亞洲重要鄰國大學學術研究表現比較分析，（二）分析我國大學在WOS資料庫之學術論文表現，並與前一個年度比較，（三）探討我國頂尖大學跨校與跨國合著情形，以及（四）瞭解我國獲補助之頂尖研究中心的科研產出表現。本計畫的預期效益是欲藉由分析我國大學與研究單位之學術能量與科研實力，作為我國高等教育相關政策推動之參考。<br> Abstract: University rankings are of great value to both universities and higher education authorities. By evaluating the academic and research performances of universities, it may help clarify the strengths and weaknesses of each university, inform the development of relative policies, and aid in leading higher education to better future directions. Therefore, this research project aims to (1) analyze the annual ranking results of universities in Taiwan in five world university ranking systems, as well as their paper performances in the Essential Science Indicators (ESI) database for the present year, and further compare the academic research performances between Taiwan and other important countries in Asia; (2) analyze the performance of papers published by universities in Taiwan in the Web of Science (WOS) database, and compare current results with that of the previous year; (3) examine the interinstitutional and international research co-authorship of the top universities; and (4) investigate the scientific research productivity and performances of the top research centers in Taiwan. Through the analyses of the academic research capacity of universities and research centers, this project intends to provide suggestions for the promotion of higher education policies in Taiwan.大學評鑑大學排名研究評估university evaluationuniversity rankingresearch evaluation
