2009-08-012024-05-17https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/679413摘要：「台灣地區調查」計畫是「東亞民主計畫」的重要子計畫之一，調查主題將依據亞洲民主動態調查的共同問卷，再結合若干台灣特殊的題目而成。台灣區計畫將於2010年春天進行第三波調查，以嚴謹的方法論及作業標準，作為區域調查中示範性計畫，並探討台灣、香港及中國大陸三角關係中，傳統中國社會裡政治文化與政治參與的比較性研究。 台灣區計畫研究設計上包含了制度、文化、現代化和理性選擇四項解釋價值變遷和民主化的理論方法，研究範疇包括發展共同問卷中的中國觀點，並策劃出台灣特有的題項以符合台灣特有的政治結構。台灣區調查裡共同問卷不僅可以做為新一波跨國資料的比較，台灣特有的題目也提供了和香港、大陸三角關係中一個長期的比較模式研究。<br> Abstract: Asian Barometer Taiwan Survey Sub-Project will implement the third-wave Asian Barometer survey in Taiwan in spring 2010. It will serve as an exemplary project in the regional survey network with its adherence to the most rigorous methodological and ethical standards. It will also function as a key component in an on-going trilateral collaboration among Taiwan, Hong Kong and Mainland China teams on a comparative study of political culture and political participation in culturally Chinese societies. As stated in the overall proposal, it will incorporate in its research design four major theoretical approaches -- institutional, cultural, modernization and rational choice – in the explanation of value changes and democratization. We will cross-examine the competing theories in the context of the island’s Confucian cultural tradition, rapid socio-economic transformation, national identity crisis, and unique security challenge. The major research activities of this sub-project include: developing a Chinese version of the core questionnaire, devising Taiwan-specific questionnaire items that capture Taiwan’s unique political configurations, administering a countrywide face-to-face survey in Taiwan, fulfilling the data archiving requirements, compiling macro-level data required by cross-national analysis and carrying out country case-study and statistical analysis.
