2004-08-012024-05-14https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/657315摘要:常春藤向來為普遍應用於室內裝飾及庭園景觀佈置的觀葉植物,具有室內空氣淨化能力,是兼具實用及美觀的室內觀賞植物。在美國、荷蘭與臺灣之觀葉植物排行皆名列前茅,常春藤生長之溫度為18~24℃,臺灣如選對品種,建立良好母本,外銷插穗或半成品甚具發展潛力。由於其枝條易發生變異,使常春藤目前即有四百多個栽培品種。因常春藤適合生長於非陽光直射的明亮處,對於光度與溫度適應範圍很廣,且品種間型態各異、生長習性與環境抗耐性不同,而關於常春藤新興品種之研究文獻甚少。以往認為常春藤無法於臺灣平地越夏;但近年新品種不斷育成,有些業者已篩選耐熱品種,但需時費工、成效有限。 台灣地處熱帶及亞熱帶,夏季氣溫常較高,亟需建立快速有效地耐熱性選拔法有助於篩選耐熱且具有商品價值之品種。以電解質滲漏測量熱傷害是最容易且敏感的方法,且與許多作物之田間表現都呈現高度相關。本計畫擬以電解質滲漏法測量常春藤各品種之耐熱性,再比對不同溫度下之生長、葉斑與光合作用變化,視其是否可作為預測常春藤品種耐熱性之指標。 <br> Abstract: English ivy (Hedera helix L.) is used extensively in many areas for landscaping and indoors in a variety of creative ways. English ivy has more than 400 known variants which are due primarily to frequency with which chimeras appear and shoots develop with new characteristics. Hederas are generally very cold hardy. In sub-tropical Taiwan areas, heat stress resistance is a more important consideration to ivy cultivar selection than cold hardiness. Although some English ivy has been grown in hot areas, high temperatures made it an erratic crop. Techniques for rapid and easy identification of heat-tolerant genotypes during breeding and selection programmes are desirable. Cell membrane thermostability (CMT), measured as electrolyte leakage from leaf discs over a range of temperatures, is a sensitive and rapid method to evaluate heat tolerance among several agronomic, fruit, vegetable and floricultural crops. Information is lacking on using CMT to indicate heat tolerance of English ivy. The proposal will examine photosynthesis and heat tolerance in leaves taken from a wide range of English ivy cultivars, using leaf electrolyte leakage as a measure of CMT and then testing how well this related to the reduced growth of plants grown under high temperatures.常春藤葉斑光合作用膜熱穩定性Hedera helixvariegationphotosynthesismembrane thermostability以細胞膜電解質滲漏技術評估常春藤品種之耐熱性
