Firms inform consumer through releasing information about commodity, and set up prices to maximize profit. We discuss and compare the two cases of homogeneous and heterogeneous firms’ decisions over equilibrium prices and quantity in the oligopolistic industry. The consumers should consider, prices and transportation cost, so that they would buy commodities from the nearest firm.
