There are only a very few negative-impedance converters built for this frequency band, and the possible difficulties that may be encountered in the design processes are discussed by analyzing the non-ideal effects in the circuits. In addition, these analyses are used in the attempt to design and to build negative capacitors and negative inductors that can operate at UHF.
