2008-07-012024-05-13https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/652986摘要:基因轉殖動物之應用包括改善動物之生產效率及產品品質、生產高價位之新蛋白質、開創人類疾病動物模式及器官供異種器官移植之用。最近十年來,基因轉殖動物領域有巨大進展,已有數種以基轉殖動物生產的醫藥產品進入臨床試驗期,未來將有更多基因轉殖動物所生產之可商業化食品。 動物複製技術的進展更擴大了基因轉殖在農業及生物醫學之應用範疇,政策決定者需檢視現有關於基因轉殖動物之法令及策略,新政策必需能確保基因轉殖及複製動物之健康與安全。採用促進農業發展的方式,尤其基因轉殖動物領域中之改善生產性狀及繁殖表現,動物體的健康狀態,產品之品質和加工特性。政策決定者已提升台灣之基礎和應用研究之水平、引入及建立平台技術、鼓勵技術合作及改善環境建構,必須透過科學團隊及委員會加強基因轉殖動物產品即GMOs(Genetically Modified Organisms )之發展及風險評估,以確保台灣生技產業可預期之未來發展。 本計畫將收集及翻譯有關國內外 (包括美國、日本、加拿大及歐盟等) 之基因改造動物研發進展及其相關法令規範,並與相關學者專家會議討論,做為擬定國內基因轉殖家畜禽短、中、長期管理政策規範草案之參考。 <br> Abstract: Applications of transgenic animals fall into the improvement of production efficiency and quality of animal products, the production of new proteins of high value and the creation of animal models for human diseases and organs for xenotransplantation. During the last decade, tremendous progress has been made in the area of transgenic animal. Several transgenic animal pharmaceutics are already in various phases of clinical trials. More commercial use of transgenic animals in food production is also likely. Recent development on animal cloning may further expand the transgenic applications in both agriculture and biomedicine. Regulators will need to review existing policies and guidelines regarding transgenic animals. New policies regarding transgenic and cloned animals may be necessary to ensure the safety and health of humans and animals. Adopt the program that facilitates rather than limits the development and application of agricultural biotechnology, particularly transgenic animals for promotion of agricultural position in the world. Especially, for the purposes that improve production performance, reproduction performance, health, quality of animal products and processing of animal products. Policy maker had taken many concrete steps to promote the level of basic and applied research, introduced and established platform techniques, encouraged technical cooperation and improved the infrastructure. It is necessary to strengthen the capability of the scientific community to undertake development and risk assessment of transgenic animal products such as GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms ) through committee for the foreseeable future of biotechnology industry in Taiwan. The purposes of this proposal will collect and translate domestic and overseas(include United state, Japan, Canada and European Union etc.) progressive informations of transgenic farm animals and their regulatory guidelines.In addition,more times meeting will be held with experts related to this field.
