2006-02-132024-05-18https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/697876摘要：2006亞太大學交流會(UMAP)國家秘書處執行計畫 亞太大學交流會(University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific，簡稱UMAP)於1991年開始籌備，正式成立於1993年，是由亞太地區官方與非官方尤指各大專院校之聯合高等教育組織代表所自發組成的協會，但以每個國家及地區僅有一席為原則。UMAP的目標為藉著加強亞太地區高等教育機構之間的合作以及各大學彼此間學生與教職員的交流，以期能達到亞太地區不同國家與不同地方之間文化、經濟、社會制度的相互了解。我國自1991年至今一直積極參與亞太大學交流會此一國際組織高等教育性會務，由臺灣大學國際學術交流中心擔任國家秘書處，並由中心主任擔任國家聯絡人。2005及2006年由我國接任理事會長國，此為臺灣在UMAP此一國際組織中展現領導實力與積極貢獻之最佳時機，期能在任期內全力以赴推動亞太地區高等教育之交流及合作以實現UMAP之願景。 今年國家秘書處（本校國際學術交流中心）工作內容如下： 一、主持3月2至3日於泰國（2006至2010之UMAP國際秘書處）曼谷召開理事會及籌畫10月12至13日在臺<br> Abstract: 2006 Implementation Plan of National Secretariat of Taiwan University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP) Abstract: University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific(UMAP) was founded in 1993. It is a voluntary association organized by the government and non-government representatives of the higher education (university) sector. UMAP membership is open to countries and territories in the Asia-Pacific region.UMAP aims to achieve enhanced international understanding through increased mobility of university students and staff. Taiwan has participated in UMAP since 1991. National Taiwan University represents as the National Contact. And the Center for International Academic Exchanges(CIAE) serves as the National Secretariat. As Taiwan was elected to be the chair of UMAP for the year 2005 and 2006, National Secretariat of Taiwan(CIAE) will bear following responsibilities this year (2006): 1. To hold UMAP Board Meetings: The Board meetings are held twice a year, and one is in the country where International Secretariat is located, currently Thailand (March 2-3, 2006). The other is in the UMAP Chair country, Taiwan(October 12-13, 2006). 2. To organize the UMAP Biannual Conference in Taipei (October14-15, 2006), including the Forum for International Students 3. To cooperate with UMAP International Secretariat on planning meetings 4. To administer the UMAP Taiwan Schlorship, including evaluation, selection and reporting 5. To participate in UMAP committees, such as financa&audit, task force on models for member secretariat, UCTS and strategic plans 6. To contact with other UMAP member countries/ territories 7. To promote the exchange of students/staff between member universities 8. To maitain the Taiwan website of UMAP and provide the latest information about UMAP 9. To assist other member universities of Taiwan to participate in the UMAP mobility schemes 10.
