2008-01-012024-05-14https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/655694摘要:豬隻在國內農產品中為單項產值最高之農產品,且豬肉品質長久以來深受國人肯 定。為了養豬業更具競爭力,本研究計畫選用豬進行繁殖力相關之功能性基因體 研究,發展畜產動物所需的基因資訊,並開發產製與繁殖力相關的cDNA晶片,加 速畜產生物科技產業的應用發展。豬的基因組是由大約三十億鹼基對(A, T, C, G)所組成。然而不同的基因在何時表達以及在何種組織器官中表達、其蛋白質形 狀和結構、蛋白質間交互作用以及單一核苷酸多樣性(single nucleotide polymorphism, or SNP)都是現階段畜產生物科技有待解決的重要課題。因此,本計 畫將結合生物資訊,針對以下目標進行研發: 1.􀀉設計豬隻特異基因晶片篩選早期胚發育各階段特異表現基因,研發與高繁種 豬早期胚發育相關之基因。 2.􀀉測試兩個國際上已開發與繁殖力相關之基因多型性與台灣種豬繁殖力表現的 關係,包括estrogen receptor和prolactin receptor等基因。 3.􀀉選殖與高繁種豬高產性能相關基因,如:豬的retinol-binding protein 4 、 adiponectin、visfatin與leptin等脂肪細胞分泌的脂肪細胞激素基因和本計畫前期開 發之基因如:CREBP、Miwi、tumor necrosis factor receptor 17、chemokine ligand 10、hypocretin等基因。 4.􀀉研發上述基因之多型性,以期找到選拔分子標記,供分子標記輔助選拔高繁 殖力種母豬參考改善台灣種豬隻繁殖力。<br> Abstract: The study and application of gene chips and DNA polymorphism related to porcine reproductive performance Production of pigs is the single agricultural product with the best value in Taiwan. The meat quality of Taiwanese pigs is well accepted and appreciated. To increase the competitiveness of the pig industry in Taiwan, we have proposed this grant to investigate the reproduction related functional genomics. To develop gene information for animals and study the reproduction related cDNA microarray can enhance the application of these gene chips in animal biotechnology industry. The porcine genome is close to 3 billion base pairs. It will soon be revealed as that in the chickens. However, there are many important research issues needed to be addressed. For instance, when and what genes are expressed in which tissues, what are the protein structures for them, what`s the interaction between different proteins, and single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) and their relation with performance are just some of the important issues.
