We demomtrated that differem types of phase separation are responsible for the formation of the porous structure in ethylene-vinyl alcohol 0EVAL) membranes. Special attention is paid here to the formation mechanism of the finger-like cavities. The results are consistent with observations of pore formation occurring on wet-casting membrane formation process and provide a greater understanding of the formation mechanism of pores of caszing membranes.application/pdf1702717 bytesapplication/pdfen-USLiquid-liquid phase separationNucleusDiffusionTop layerPore formation mechanism of membranes from phase inversion processjournal articlehttp://ntur.lib.ntu.edu.tw/bitstream/246246/2006111501233087/1/10188.pdf
