2005-01-012024-05-17https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/671355摘要：珊瑚礁是海洋生物多樣性最豐富的熱點，也是劃設海洋保護區的重點海域。台灣沿岸海域由於環境適合珊瑚生長，因此本島的北、東、南部及各離島海域都有珊瑚廣泛分布，然而由於過去並無有系統的調查，因此缺乏各海域珊瑚礁分布範圍和多樣性資料。本計畫之目的為建立台灣海域的珊瑚礁分布範圍，以及各海域的珊瑚物種和群聚多樣性的資料，分析各區段海域珊瑚群聚的結構和功能，評估珊瑚生物多樣性熱點，以擬定海洋保護區劃設優先次序的建議。本計畫第一年將完成北部沿岸海域（淡水河口以北至宜蘭縣頭城鎮)的珊瑚礁及珊瑚資源分布調查，製作珊瑚礁分布圖，完成該海域各分區的珊瑚生物多樣性評估，鑑定生物多樣性熱點及特殊或重要礁區。<br> Abstract: Coral reefs are the hotspots of marine biodiversity and are often regarded as the focus of marine protected areas. Due to the favorable environment for coral growth, corals are widely distributed on the northern, eastern, and southern coast and many offshore islands in Taiwan. However, the distribution and species diversity of corals in most areas are still unknown owing to the lack of systematic surveys. The aims of this study are to map the distribution of corals and to evaluate the status of coral reefs in the coastal areas of Taiwan by combining field surveys and satellite image analyses. The functional status of coral communities and the hotspots of coral reefs will also be analyzed. Based on these information, a scheme of MPAs in Taiwan will be proposed. In the first year, the coastal area from Danshui to Toucheng will be studied and the distribution of corals and status of coral communities will be mapped. Biodiversity hotspots and conservation values at different sections will be evaluated with an aim to discern the priority of designating MPAs in this area.珊瑚礁生物多樣性台灣coral reefbiodiversityTaiwan
