We present a case of an 18-year-old female with mitochondrial encephalopathy, lactic acidosis, and stroke-like episodes syndrome who developed left radial artery and right brachial artery pseudoaneurysms secondary to arterial line placement and repeated blood draws, respectively. The ultrasonographic features of pulsating mass in connection with an artery and the yin-yang sign, combined with the patient's history, allowed accurate diagnosis. She was referred to vascular surgery for definitive treatment. ? 2019 Journal of Medical Ultrasound | Published by Wolters Kluwer - Medknow.[SDGs]SDG3adult; Article; blood sampling; brachial artery; case report; catheterization; clinical article; disease exacerbation; Doppler ultrasonography; end stage renal disease; false aneurysm; female; human; immunoglobulin M nephropathy; lactic acidosis; MELAS syndrome; mitochondrial encephalopathy; radial artery; reflex; vascular surgery; visual hallucination; wrist; young adultAn unusual volar wrist mass: Radial artery pseudoaneurysm following transradial catheterizationjournal article10.4103/JMU.JMU_37_192-s2.0-85085994659
