All previously reported cases were adenocarcinomas. Here we report a case of lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma (LELC) of the lung presenting as a thin-walled cavity with a smooth inner surface. LELC is more commonly seen in Southeast Asia, including Taiwan, and its gross picture is usually a solid mass with a round, circumscribed border, which is indistinguishable from other non-small cell lung cancers. Asymmetric thickness of the cystic wall and lymphadenopathy are important features in the diagnosis and the selection of treatment. ? 2013 by The Society of Thoracic Published by Elsevier Inc.[SDGs]SDG3antineoplastic agent; cytokeratin 5; cytokeratin 6; protein p53; adult; article; cancer chemotherapy; cancer radiotherapy; case report; clinical feature; female; human; human tissue; lung cancer; lung lobectomy; lymphoepithelioma; lymphoepithelioma like carcinoma of the lung; priority journal; video assisted thoracoscopic surgery; 10; Carcinoma; Female; Humans; Lung Neoplasms; Middle AgedUnusual presentation of lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma of lung as a thin-walled cavityjournal article10.1016/j.athoracsur.2013.03.021241824742-s2.0-84887096551
