楊芳燕2006-07-252018-05-292006-07-252018-05-292003-07-31http://ntur.lib.ntu.edu.tw//handle/246246/4424以1895-1923 為歷史斷限,本研究擬探討西方進化論之傳入對於近代中國倫 理思想之轉型及發展的意涵。 近代中國知識份子對於進化論之認識與接受,始於清末嚴復對Herbert Spencer 之社會達爾文主義的譯介。自此而降,直到1930 年代馬克斯唯物論盛行 之前,進化論實主導了近代中國知識份子之世界觀、歷史觀、以及價值觀之開展。 目前學界的相關研究,多偏重於探討進化論與新宇宙觀、世界觀及歷史觀之形成 的關係,或者是其對民族主義之興起的影響。致於進化論對於近代中國倫理思想 所造成的衝擊與影響,卻鮮有學者做專題式的深入探討。本研究擬探討西方進化 論之傳入對於近代中國倫理思想之發展的意涵,即嘗試補足此一缺憾。Western theories of evolution were first introduced into China in the late nineteenth century and ever since had exerted multifaceted influences on the development of modern Chinese thought. Indeed, before the rise and triumph of Marxist materialism in the 1930s, evolutionary theories had served as the dominant framework for the development of modern Chinese intellectuals’ world views and their views on history and values.
