<br> Abstract: For last year the project has proposed a two-year plan, this year’s project aims to add new texts and to extend the research topics on the basis of the first year’s results. The project has two primary traits: First, the project team is composed of professionals of Chinese, English, Russian, German, Japanese, Spanish researchers; thus, the team is able to decipher different language and cultural phenomena in the world, to point out the culture hegemonies and minority cultures between the developed and the developing countries, to inspect the relationships between media and business strategies, and to find the problems resulted from cross-borders, translations, and interpretations. All of these echo the issue of globalization. Second, the studied texts include music, reading, publication, animation, movie, literature and theories. The team finds an axis to link the seemingly scattered fields, and better represent the meaning of cross-culture studies by understanding different symbols, referenced meanings, and different sociopolitical contexts. This project include gender, music, literature, translation, animation, movie, post-colonialism, orientalism, feminism, technoculture, pop culture, and culture translation-all are significant issues and theories of modern cultural studies. The abovementioned sub-topics may be integrated into two points: pop culture and culture translation, through which the project team hopes to represent the diversity and hybridity of cultural studies in the era of globalization.文化研究跨文化跨媒材流行文化文化翻譯cultural studiescross-culturecross-mediapop culturecultural translation《臺灣與世界對話》跨文化與跨媒材的轉譯研究
