2016-01-012024-05-15https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/662410摘要:番木瓜種子是我國具外銷潛力之種子品項,然而國際學術研究上對番木瓜種子特性較不熟悉,不利於國際種子檢查協會 (ISTA)檢查項目的設定,因此本研究擬針對番木瓜種子,建立其種子活力與含水量關係,並探討儲性與活力之關係。番木瓜種子之假種皮 (sacrotesta)之去除,常藉由靜置降低其難度,但是靜置對種子品質的影響,則仍需系統化的評估。另外,本研究成果與其他國家之ISTA認證種子檢查實驗室及ISTA相關技術委員會專家進行技術交流,並於國際會議 (如ISTA大會) 發表相關技術研發成果,使我國種子檢查技術提升至國際水準。<br> Abstract: Papaya seeds is potentially important for export in Taiwan. Shorting of basic study for papaya seed characters internationally hinders the seed qualification for International Seed Testing Association (ISTA). Therefore, the objective of this study was first to focus on the relationship between seed viability/vigor and moisture content, and further to investigate the correlation between seed storage span and seed viability/vigor. Removing sacrotesta of papaya seeds is an essential step in seed production, and the newly harvest seeds are normally leaving the air for several days to ease the removal; however, the effect of the protocol on seed viability/vigor and storage span should be investigate systematically.
