2012-02-012024-05-17https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/671793摘要:本計畫將分成兩年執行,在第一年,我們將以摻鉺光纖放大器為增益介質、光耦合器、極化控制器 以及電光調變器建構主動鎖模摻鉺光纖放大器光纖雷射。並設計製作適用於主動鎖模摻鉺光纖放大 器雷射之光纖穩定迴路系統,並以此系統控制壓電材料來穩定雷射環腔,藉以產生穩定且超低時基 抖動量的雷射系統。之後,藉由色散補償光纖來補償雷射色散,並將其平均功率放大,以利用光固 子壓縮將脈衝寬縮短至飛秒等級。我們預計此系統可輸出一具有脈衝寬小於500 飛秒、脈衝重複率 為10 GHz、輸出平均功率範圍為1~100 毫瓦、操作波長在1550 奈米範圍、時間抖動量小於100 飛 秒以及頻譜線寬大於7 奈米 的主動鎖模脈衝雷射。在第二年中,我們首先將研究及製作半導體飽和吸 收體,並量測其各種特性。之後,我們將以摻鉺光纖放大器、光耦合器、極化控制器以及半導體飽 和吸收體建構半導體飽和吸收體被動鎖模摻鉺光纖放大器光纖雷射系統,同時,藉由使用數位式示 波器、頻譜分析儀及光功率計來分析輸出脈衝之輸出功率、頻譜線寬、消光比、脈衝寬及時基抖動 量。我們預計此系統可輸出一具有脈衝寬小於500 飛秒、輸出平均功率範圍為1~100 毫瓦、操作波 長在1550 奈米範圍、時間抖動量小於250 飛秒及頻譜線寬大於0.3 奈米 的被動鎖模脈衝雷射。<br> Abstract: In the first year, we compose EDFA (gain medium), optical coupler, polarization controller and EO modulator to fabricate the active mode locking fiber laser. A stable fiber feedback system is designed to apply in the EDFA active mode locking fiber laser, which is also utilized to stabilize the laser ring cavity by controlling the piezoelectric material, eventually, the fiber laser system with the ultra low timing fitter is expected to be produced. The dispersion compensating fiber is used to compensate the laser dispersion and amplify the average power, the laser pulse is compressed to the fs order by incorporating soliton. We expect to fabricate an active mode locking fiber laser with sub 500 fs pulse width, repetition rate of 10 GHz, output average power of 1~100 mW, operating wavelength of 1550 nm, timing fitter smaller than 100 fs and spectral linewidth larger than 7 nm. In the second year, the characteristic of semiconductor saturable absorber will be investigated. After that, we propose to fabricate the semiconductor saturable absorber based passive mode locking fiber laser by composing EDFA, optical coupler, polarization controller and saturable absorber. The laser parameters including output power, spectral linewidth, extinction ratio, pulse width and timing jitter will be measured and analyzed by power meter, optical spectrum analyzer and oscilloscope.
