In particular, leaky-mode characteristics for the mode with field guided mainly at the top air-silver interface and that with field distributed mainly near the silver-substrate interface are presented and discussed based on high-resolution numerical analysis. Complex effective indices are accurately solved from which the modal propagation lengths are determined.Leaky-Mode Characteristics of Silica-Substrate Supported Circular-Cylinder Silver Nanowireconference paper10.1109/ursi-emts.2016.75714142-s2.0-84992159529
