Sharing the same cultural flows motif, the Program will start from the concern with languages, literature, photography, cinema and manga/anime, concentrate on how Taiwan imbibes Chinese/Japanese literature and culture at the same time exports its culture to adjacent countries as pivot in the Asia-Pacific zone. The Program is comprised of eight transdisciplinary sub-projects focusing on humanity. Each sub-project attempts to analyze and explore cultural association and differentiation between Taiwan and its neighbor states under the premise that Taiwan is the key node of Asia studies. The Program will also introduce Geographic Information System (GIS) to the research team in order to visualize the complex cultural transition pattern. The objective of the Program is to establish College of Liberal Arts, National Taiwan University as the heart of transcultural studies in the Asia-Pacific region, and cultivate succeeding researchers with profound intellectual base.文化流動亞太文化研究台灣文學跨文化GISCultural FlowsAsia-Pacific Cultural StudiesTaiwan LiteratureTranscultural StudiesGIS《臺灣與世界對話》文化流動--亞太人文景觀的多樣性
